You hire a team without a back-up.

You really don’t know how often it can happen right? Well I’ve been running a high end photography agency in the wedding industry for about 15 years. I can tell you that it happens often... the horror story... a bride’s nightmare: the photographer does not show up. People are human, I get it. There are emergencies. When you hire a photographer without a talented back-up team, well, you can be in trouble. Always ask who the back up person/team is. Make sure there is one and you can see them.
