Hello! My name is Christian. I'm a photographer, a filmmaker, a music producer, and an actor. I always wanted to become a known music producer as a kid but life took me through certain moments which sparked a passion for filmmaking. I went to college and got a degree in Film Production Technology. I started to fall in love with the ins-and-outs of cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and many other things. I became fascinated with the science and art behind all of it. One day I became an intern in a movie set and they needed a photographer since their photographer was late. I told them I could do it and they gave me a chance. Producers eventually loved my work and my reliability. At that point I started to fall in love with photography and it became a passion. I worked with tons of amazing cinematographers and editorial photographers.
After some time, I eventually took a break from the film industry in order to chase some music/film projects of my own. I needed a way to fund these projects and obviously pay the bills so I started doing weddings for other companies from time to time. I enjoyed capturing those beautiful moments in life for other people, I've got a big heart and capturing love, joy and many emotions was highly rewarding. I realized that I actually enjoyed doing wedding photography. That is when I started my own wedding photography business.
It was rough at first. The companies I shot weddings for wouldn't let me use all of that work for my own portfolio (which I completely understood as a legal point). I made an incredible amount of phone calls, worked all day and stayed up long hours at night to start a business and find weddings without much to show. Eventually I landed my first wedding, and it grew from there. I traveled everywhere I could to develop the best and most diverse portfolio possible. Most of the time the money I earned from these weddings were spent in flights, car rentals, hotels, and related expenses. It was totally worth it though.
At the same time, during those travels, I developed an artistic/editorial portfolio (not found on this website) which led me to photography work with magazines, artists, musicians, and big name DJs. I am growing in many, many scenes and it is incredibly fascinating. Everything I learn during every photoshoot makes me a better wedding photographer. Everything is applied to my wedding photography, making me a well rounded artist. There are no limits, and I don't put barriers on myself. Hop on a helicopter to shoot a volcano before it erupts? sure. lol!
Now I am incredibly happy. I have a highly successful photography business. I have also trained a lot of successful wedding photographers, leaving me with a huge network of professionals in the business. The money that I make is going towards my first movie. My intention is to inspire the world with good things, and leave something good behind. I love what I do and my clients honestly have a good time with me during their wedding. I'm fun, I'm simple, I know how to give direction well and I want my clients to enjoy their wedding day. I know how to capture all the emotion, I know how to tell a story through photos. These memories are priceless you know? and I am driven by passion.
